Description :	Le tombeau comporte un sarcophage et au-dessus une large arcade entre deux colonnes de marbre noir. Un entablement avec décor d'arabesques et d'ornements de style Renaissance surmonte les colonnes. Une urne funéraire couronne le tout. Une porte percée sous l'arcade avait permis au 17e siècle de transformer le fond en placard pour les sainte huiles, ce qui explique l'inscription qui a remplacé l'épitaphe de Jean du Mas.

Historique :	Une série de découvertes faites dans les archives notariales a permis d'établir que ce tombeau était vraisemblablement l'oeuvre de l'architecte angevin Jean de Lespine, auteur du logis Pincé et du mausolée de Champeaux (Seine-et-Marne).
