Précision sur l'inscription :	Inscription sur l'oeuvre : Sous cette tombe de pierre dure qui regarde le milieu de l'autel est le corps de déffunt Mre Urbain Vallet curé de cette paroisse décédé le 6e mars 1686 âgé de 35 ans ses héritiers ont fondé à perpétuité dans cette église trois grandes messes une le jour de son décèz les deux autres le 25e may jour de Saint Urbain et un déprofundis et l'oraison tous les dimanches de l'année après les vespres sur sa fosse et être annoncé le service les dimanches de devant les jours marqués cy dessus suivant l'acte passé par Mre Michel Budan Nore Roal à Saumur le per juin 1686 le tout pour le repos de son âme et de celle de ses père et mère parents et alliez. Prié Dieu pour le repos de leurs âmes qu'ils reposent en paix Ainsi soit-il FtPrMy Urbain Vallet son neveu.
